Dave Harryman's MRD has been manufacturing high performance components for different types of racing engines for over 20 years. Our SS exhaust systems are track and dyno proven to outperform stock exhaust systems and are built to stand up to hard racing conditions.

Except for a few CNC components that are out-sourced, we fabricate the pipes completely in-house. Dave Harryman does all the design, assembly and welding while Nick Harryman does the machining of all the components.
                        WARRANTY
MRD-RACING has the best warranty in the business. We offer a one-time free crash repair for the first 6 months from date of purchase (minor cosmetic damage excluded ) and we will fix any properly maintained pipe that cracks any weld for a period of 3 years from date of purchase. Note: mufflers require re-packing every 25 hrs of hard use. Running your muffler with blown- out packing or using header wrap will cause it to overheat and weaken resulting in premature failure and voids the warranty. Note -trail riding applications are not considered hard use , please clean pipes before sending them in for repair , pipes sent in  for free crash repair must include $10.00 for new packing and applicable return shipping $

FAQ
What kind of packing should I use to repack ? ........ any 4 stroke packing will work , do not use 2 stroke packing
How often do I need to repack ? .........  if you race or ride hard most of the time you should repack often ( 20/25 hrs )
Do I need to rejet for this pipe ? .......... on most MX models the stock jetting is good , on DRZ's and Honda X's  rejet is needed
Do I need to re-map for this pipe ? ........ stock mapping will run good , but there is extra performance in a good re-map
Does the quiet insert hurt power ? ......... the quiet insert smooths out the power , peak horsepower loss is minimal
What is the difference between the SSW/MRD and the STD pipe for the DRZ 400 ?.......... both pipes run about the same on fairly stock DRZ's , but on modified engines the SSW/MRD makes alot more power , for SUPERMOTO the SSW/MRD is normally the choice and for DUEL SPORT the STD is normally the choice because of the noise issue's , all of our pipes can be run with or without a quiet insert but the SSW/MRD is louder due to its larger core and tip opening
Did MRD change their warranty ? ..... no we have not changed our warranty , we have the most genorous warranty ever offered in the exhaust business , it is offered to insure that you get some enjoyment from your purchase even if you crash and damage your new pipe , unfortunatly a few people think that warranty mean's lifetime warranty and have posted on forums that we have a lifetime warranty
